What sells well?
Ladies clothing of all sizes from 0 through 28, purses, shoes, belts, jewelry and accessories sell well in our store. All clothing must be dry cleaned or freshly laundered and pressed. Please bring all items in on hangers. The better it looks, the better it will sell. Clothes should be stylish, no more than 3 years off the rack, or old enough to qualify as vintage. Items that are stained, torn, or contain moth damage will not be accepted.
Clothing sells best when it is in style and in season.
Please do not remove the labels from clothing that you want to consign. Removed or altered labels reduce the price we can ask for your items.
We pay 40% of the selling price in funds, or 50% in store trade when your items sell.
We set the consignment period based on style, season and demand. Our most common consignment period is 90 days. During that time, we take regular markdowns at the end of each month. We may offer special sales or promotions, depending on the season and the available product.
Our goal is to sell as many of the items you consign as possible. For that reason, we also have 30 and 60 day consignment periods for clothes and accessories, and extended consignment periods for jewelry and collectible items. The staff member who reviews your items will also set the consignment period.
